In This Issue: The Good Life (83 Seconds) It seems lately that you can’t turn on the television, radio, or even drive down the street without being bombarded with “living the good life” advertisements. There is an ever increasing pressure to live a certain lifestyle. This pressure spills over into all the areas of life especially at work where you actually earn that living. Living the “good” life is not just about money, and all the things money affords us. It is about creating soul satisfying work that is fulfilling and makes a difference in our communities. Since most of us spend more time at work than we do in all other areas of life, why not make it worth our while. Why not give up the pressures, the comparisons, and the notion that life should imitate an IKEA catalog. It seems to me that we have temporarily forgotten that there is a greater reality in life. We waste so much energy judging and comparing, that it can be easy to loose sight of what living the “good life" really is. All of life including your work is more than a means to an end, it is fertile ground to learn, grow, and make a difference. This week I challenge you to take the “have to” out of work and reconnect with bringing some fun and joy back into your workplace. Wishing you a Happy Monday, Jason
