Like Looking Good (84 Seconds)

Thank you to all of you who flooded my inbox with emails of support, stories, and even childcare referrals after last week’s Monday Morning Minute.

Many of you told me how much you appreciated the personal sharing of my life and how it inspired you to live more fully in your own.

This was another valuable lesson in reality for me.  I was concerned that sharing of the picture of Sierra and me would not fit with my professional persona and, in some way, would make me look bad.  And I really like looking good.

However, the truth is the more I am worried about how good I look the less authentic I become and the more difficult life becomes.

It’s like wanting to be complimented on your clothes and your style and it isn’t until you no longer care how you look, or even what your wearing, when all of a sudden someone says, “Wow you look great in that shirt.”

The ability to truly be ourselves authentically sets inspiration in motion, and lights a spark that, in turn, ignites a chain reaction of influence that touches all those we connect with.

I invite you to join me this week to share authentically from your heart with your personal and professional communities as you challenge the edges of your comfort zone and step fully into living your Life.

Wishing you a Happy Monday,

Jason
