An English Educator ! (99 Seconds)

I've been visiting in London this past week and I am quite impressed with how fit and active the English appear.

I noticed a few things right away like how the population in general chooses walking over riding in cars.  I think I've walked more this past week than in the past three months.

I also observed the abundance of daily local markets.  This enables the English to buy fresh food without additives or preservatives on a daily basis.

During my travels I realized that as a fast paced business professional it is easy to justify eating meals on the go and skimp on my daily dose of moving my body.

It seems that we American's can really push ourselves, asking for that double shot of espresso or drinking a cola to provide that extra boost, literally collapsing into bed at the end of the day.

How many of us continue to sacrifice our well being and just can't seem to make the time to get into a wellness routine?

This trip abroad was a fresh perspective and reminded me that we are what we eat and how we live. The quality of our lives and our ability to be the very best at work and home depends upon this fine balance.

I invite you to join me this week and consider how we can begin to re-incorporate vitality and well-being as a way of life.  I will be eating a green salad with dinner each evening this week.  Please email me if you would like to share what simple step you will be taking.

Wishing you a Happy Monday,

Jason
