Using Your Fog Lights (150 seconds)

Have you been having trouble holding the vision of your best possible life lately?

Perhaps you want to get to bed earlier, start walking everyday, or take a step towards your million dollar idea.  The problem is the amount of work you are currently taking on has become ridiculous and the idea of living a better life is starting to slip away into the darkness of your thoughts.

It’s like driving in dense fog with your lights off.  You can’t see the road ahead so you pull off and decide to wait.  The challenge is that the fog doesn’t dissipate and there you are stuck in the middle of nowhere for what seems like it may be forever.  The hours pass into days and the days into years just waiting for the fog to clear.

It may be a bit scary at first, but the only way out of the darkness is to get back on the road and flip the lights to your Vision back on.  You may not be able to see your final destination or even around the next corner, but you’ll definitely be able to see a few feet ahead of yourself.

It is amazing what you can accomplish in life when you have a clear Vision and you illuminate your mind to the present moment.

I have had the honor of watching many people manifest their Visions.  One professional is now traveling the world while still growing his business and another is spending more time with her family without loosing momentum at work.

We are all human and it is normal to pull of the road and doubt our vision every now and again; however don’t stay there waiting to try and see your whole road map too long.

This week notice yourself feeling overwhelmed and turn on your fog lights to see a simple step in moving toward your destination of purpose in work.

Give yourself permission to let go of needing to know all the details that are supposed to happen along your journey.  And if you get stuck, remember this quote:

“I am in the present.  I cannot know what tomorrow will bring forth.  I can know only what the truth is for me today.  That is what I am called upon to serve." - Igor Stravinksy

Wishing you a Happy Monday,
