The Buddha's Diet (140 seconds)

Are you finding that it challenging to be a fast-paced professional and eat healthfully?   You may be noticing your waistline is expanding a bit as we move into the holiday season.

You've heard the news about the latest and greatest diets and perhaps you have tried a few.  From Atkins to Blood Type and Beverley Hills to South Beach; no matter what your fancy there seems to be a diet that says it can help you lose your extra weight.

The problem is that weight loss is a billion dollar industry and usually focuses on short term gains rather than long term solutions.

So if you are tired of losing a few and gaining a few pounds and you are ready to get off the weight loss roller coaster, I recommend you try the Buddha Diet.

Now here was a man who was obviously a bit big in his briefs, but along with his belly do you notice his grin?  I’m going to go ahead and say it – He was fat and happy!

I believe he was unattached to his current size because he was so great at focusing in the moment.  I bet you a candy bar he wasn’t worrying himself sick about looking great in a Speedo.

So if Buddha had an infomercial between Tony Robbins and Richard Simmons I believe he would offer these few tips.

  1. You, as much as anyone in the world, deserve your love and attention.  Take some time for yourself to reflect on your well being.
  2. It doesn’t matter what diet you choose; the only mistake you can make is not starting one.
  3. To enjoy good health and find true happiness you first must find ways to discipline and train your mind.
  4. And finally, no matter what your size, remember to find your laugh.

If you are an overwhelmed business professional who is struggling to find ways to discipline and train your mind, I encourage you to take a bold step and email me at Jason@JasonStein.com.

Wishing you all a Happy Monday,

Jason
