Your Extra Mile Impacts the World (135 Seconds)

When I give trainings I sometimes offer this exercise – i start with, "Raise your hands as high as you can."  Now I know you’re reading or listening to the Minute, but go ahead "Raise your hands as high as you can."  Now ..."Raise them just a little bit higher.

Without a doubt, we can raise our hands just a bit higher.

Interesting isn’t it, that we feel we are giving it our all, when in fact we usually have a little bit more we could go.

I find this ever present in customer service.

Getting bad customer service is like getting a glass of cold water splashed in your face.

I specifically remember the receptionist at the doctor’s office who was badmouthing a fellow employee or the arrogant customer service rep at a local plumbing shop.

On the other hand I also remember each time a professional has gone the extra mile.

I remember the gentleman from a quick mart walking me down the street to another business to get the adapter I was looking for and the flight attendant who tracked down a blanket, pillow, and glass of water, when I just asked for a glass of water.

Their ability to go that extra mile sparked a light in me to be more kind and generous to those around me. It was like a domino effect because a complete stranger's kindness impacted all the lives that I touched that day.

Customer service is not dead, it’s just been sleeping.  Imagine a place where you receive 5 star treatment no matter what service you are using.  Now imagine you could be that person giving the 5 star treatment to others.

 Special Assignment

This week in business go the extra mile and create extraordinary service for the clients and coworkers you come into contact with.  Imagine that you are a spark which can let fire and create a domino effect impacting the lives of people you will never meet.

Wishing you all a happy Monday,

Jason

Unveiling Your Powerful Gifts

Here is what one recent particpant said of the "Unveiling Powerful Gifts workshop.

"This workshop helped me recognize and acknowledge some of my own power, and also how I was self-limiting access to that power!  Jason's exercises, commentary, and insights were just what I needed to awaken me to what was not working for me, and remind me of my natural gifts. It was an afternoon truly well spent for me, and I heartily recommend it to others!" -Tana Hastings, LMT

This new workshop will be offered again on February 25th.  If you want a safe environment to explore your natural strengths and unleash your powerful gifts, then CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION!  Space will be limited for this event.
