Avoiding Death in Public (133 seconds)

Imagine being in a room full of professionals introducing themselves?  You know your turn is coming and your mind starts to wander with all the things you could say.  As the microphone gets closer your palms begin to sweat, you remember public speaking is feared more than death, and you desperately want to be somewhere else--anywhere else.

You blurt something out, pass the mic as if it is some sort of diseased object, and spend the remainder of the meeting trying to be invisible - hoping no one knows how embarrassed you feel.

This happens millions of times everyday around the world.

Professionals are given an enormous amount of information on how to create more business, yet not enough tools to be comfortable with the natural talents and stregnths that they already have.

The result - A lot of creative, passionate entrepreneurs who feel overwhelmed and are struggling in business.

Somewhere between childhood and becoming an adult we loose our ability to be comfortable in our own skin. We lose the ability to revel in our unique talents and to see that they are a gift to share with others.

I’m pretty sure my daughter wasn’t dying of embarrassment when she was wearing her Halloween skeleton costume at the grocery store the day before Christmas.  There she was happy as a clam in her Day-Glo getup pushing her baby around in a stroller in the midst of scores of Christmas shoppers.

The keys to the kingdom in business success are to know how to recognize and access your natural strengths and, then, learn how to share them with others.

The next time you’re in a meeting like the one described above, remember one thing you are great at, and share with the group, with all your zest, your name and how you can be of service.

And if you are ready to fully embrace your natural strengths and learn how to share them with those around you then don’t pass go, don’t collect $200, check out the new teleclass series being offered by clicking the link below.  If you want to save a few sheckels sign up today, because the price goes up tomorrow.
