In This Issue: Crazy People (97 Seconds) Is there a crazy person in your life who seems committed to making your life difficult? This past week, I passed a bicyclist on a major road here in Portland. I was quite surprised when I came to a stop light and I heard him yelling. When I realized he was screaming at me, I rolled down my window. "I'm sick and tired of you yuppies who think your cars own the road. I am just as entitled to these streets as you are, I hate.." As he continued to rant and rave, I realized that no matter what response I mustered he was simply committed to two things; being upset and blaming me. There may be someone in your community whom you are having conflicts with or perhaps you are having to interact with someone who is just upset in general. It is easy to get angry and engage in a battle of egos; however ask yourself, "What good will it do to try and prove my point while they are in the middle of their upset?" In my personal experience none. I've learned that in almost all situations where there's an imbalance of energy that it's easier to move someone's energy around you than try to plow right through it. This week see if you can just listen, open your heart and be a sounding board for those people in your life who seem committed to being upset with you. By just listening you may find that they have some valid points and even if they don't you can avoid being impacted by their energy. Wishing you a Happy Monday, Jason Business Synergy this Month!
